ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Metropolitan Compactor Service Corp. was founded in 1983 and is a family owned and operated business. Our founder worked in the industry throughout the 1970's as compactors began to replace incinerators in residential buildings. We operated as a manufacturer in the early years from a facility in Middlesex, NJ. Then as manufacturing slowed, our business shifted to emphasize service work.

Today, we operate a fleet of service and installation technicians from our facility in Westfield, NJ. We offer the complete solution for residential building owners and developers. We are expert at sales, installation and service of refuse handling systems for multi-story residential buildings. Our product offerings include: refuse compactors, trash and linen chutes, trash and linen chute doors, automated recycling systems, refuse containers, and almost anything else related to handling refuse. We provide installations of new equipment, replacement of exhausted equipment, and service for all brands of existing equipment.
